An air conditioning system used in a building or home is a set of systems and installations that ensure comfortable interior conditions, both in terms of temperature and humidity as well as air quality.

Many technologies are used for this purpose , based on the use chief and vp of training email list of different energy sources and different types of heat or cold distribution systems inside the building. Mainly, we can use water or air as working fluids, to heat or cool the air-conditioned rooms.

Types of air conditioning systems

There are many ways to classify air conditioning systems, but the most common way of doing so is, as indicated, according to the way they use to take primary energy and to transfer it. Thus, we can distinguish:

Air-to-air systems , also known as all-air installations
Air-water systems
Water-water systems , known as all-water installations
Water – air systems

To clarify this nomenclature, it must be taken into account that when we speak of a system using air-air or air-water and water-water or water-air, the first term indicates the fluid in the environment with which the outdoor unit exchanges energy and the second is the fluid in the installation to be air-conditioned with which the equipment exchanges energy. As there may be equipment that acts as a combined heating and cooling system, the medium with which the equipment condensation occurs in cold mode is named at the beginning. In particular, this implies:

In air-to-air type equipment : the exchange in the installation occurs with air between both units.
In air-water systems : the installation operates with air in the outdoor unit and with water in the indoor unit.
In water-water installations : in this case the exchange in the installation is with water between both units.
In water-air systems : the exchange takes place in the installation with water in the outdoor unit and with air in the indoor unit.

Energy efficiency in air conditioning systems
An air conditioning system must maintain optimal humidity and temperature conditions and may present the following inefficiencies :

Incorrect operation of the boilers : the correct combustion must be monitored and supervised and must be checked and adjusted periodically.
