The ICSC aims to benchmark agents from the most diverse economic sectors, consumers and participants in the Consortium System regarding the trust of administrators associated with ABAC. For Luiz Antonio Barbagallo, an economist at ABAC, the small drop in the ICSC in January 2025 reveals caution. “Mainly in relation to the behavior of the Brazilian economy in the last months of last year, in which the number of responses with negative options pulled the indicator down,” he highlighted.
The economist analyzed that the small drop presented in the ICSC reflects, in the same way as other sectors of the economy, some uncertainties about the Brazilian economy in 2025.
