Consortium system in July/2023: economic data

In the balance sheet of the Consortium System from January to July 2023, new records were recorded for sales, credits traded and active consortium members. In the latter, the 9.81 million registered participants represented an increase of 10.5% compared to the 8.88 million in the same month of 2022.

From January 2022 to July this year, the modality completed nineteen months of growth in the volume of active consortium members, with only one decline last April, when it totaled 9.44 million. By segment, the increases reached 34.6% in heavy vehicles; 20.7% in electronics; 19.9% ​​in real estate; 11.7% in motorcycles; and 3.6% in light vehicles. Only services showed stability.

Light Vehicle Consortium

Heavy Vehicle Consortium
From January to July, heavy vehicle consortia recorded excellent performances in five indicators: active participants, sales of quotas, deals made, contemplations and credits granted. On the other hand, the 12.6% decline observed in the average monthly ticket was caused by the greater number of new participants with smaller credits. However, this did not influence the growth in the accumulated credits contracted, which increased by 21.9%.
