Saskia Barth, Axel Schondelmaier and Wolfgang Lutz: DKBC elected the 2015 Sportsman, Sportswoman and Coach

The team vice world champions Saskia Barth and Axel Schondelmaier, as well as Schrezheim's and national U23 men's coach Wolfgang Lutz, received high recognition from the DKBC for their outstanding achievements in 2015:
Saskia Barth (KC Schrezheim) was named DKBC Athlete of the Year 2015. The 20-year-old won silver with the German team in Speichersdorf last year. She won gold in the U23 category at the Individual World Cup in Hirschau and is already a reliable pillar of the German women's vice champions, KC Schrezheim.
Axel Schondelmaier (Rot-Weiß Zerbst) was named DKBC Athlete of the Year 2015. The 34-year-old also won silver with the team at the World Championships in Speichersdorf. With Zerbst, the 2nd chairman of SKC Unterharmersbach photo editing services became World Cup winner and German champion in 2014 and 2015 as well as Champions League winner in 2015.
Wolfgang Lutz was named Coach of the Year 2015 at the DKBC. The 51-year-old has been instrumental in the successful development of KC Schrezheim since 2003, leading the women's team to victory in the 2014 DKBC Cup, the runner-up spot, and the European Cup in 2014 and 2015. The U23 men's national team coach, who is preparing the team for the 2016 World Cup in Croatia, was assistant coach of the men's silver medal team in Speichersdorf in 2015.
The awards ceremony will take place at the DKB Sports Gala on March 18, 2016, in Berlin/Mahlow.
The DKBC Executive Board warmly congratulates Saskia Barth, Axel Schondelmaier, and Wolfgang Lutz on their selection and the associated award and recognition of their achievements.
