The reference portal for Information Technologies, Dataprix , presents new features in the final stretch of 2011 by expanding the sections accessible from the main menu of its communication portal .

Thanks to the development of a new content filter, Dataprix will categorize its links and direct them towards sections oriented towards technology or types of IT applications . The previous categorization, unlike the current one, directed its results more towards types of content, which meant less thematic visibility of the information.

After an intensive analysis of the traffic list of telegram users in brazil and habits of the portal's visitors, Dataprix decided to segment the new sections by technological categories, since this offered them greater visibility. In addition to displaying the topics addressed on the website at all times, the content is segmented more easily. In fact, the browser has a link to each section in the header of the page, which takes them to a new section, similar to the main website, in which all the content displayed belongs to the selected category.

Thus, in each of the 9 categories; Knowledge Management, Databases, Data Integration, ERP , Business Intelligence, Data Mining, Analytics, CRM and Technology Trends, the visitor finds a complete page with specialized content from the business bulletin board, blogs, articles, forum debates or the most viewed content from each area. Another aspect included in this improvement is the possibility of finding events associated with the topics and news according to the category in which they are at that time.

The optimization of the portal includes several important details that allow for greater navigability, such as the fixed width in the content section of the page, which was previously variable, and which now provides greater coherence to the whole.

According to Dataprix founder Carlos Fernández: “These changes have been possible thanks to feedback from visitors, which we take into account, with the main objective of facilitating both navigation and the location of content of interest on a portal that is generating more and more interest in the sector.
