An industrial oven is a facility where heat is used, generated in different ways, to carry out the heating, melting or treatment of a material.

In a gas oven, the chemical energy contained in the fuel, natural gas, is transformed into heat that is used to increase the temperature of all the materials inside. This material inside can be of many types, from a metal that needs to be melted to a food that needs to be baked.

Fundamental parts that make up an oven
A gas oven consists of a series of fundamental parts that are vp security email lists designed to provide the necessary heat to the interior of the oven, as well as to reduce energy losses and evacuate the combustion products to the chimney.

The most important parts are:

Firebox or combustion chamber: This is the part where the gas burners are installed and the combustion gases are generated. These combustion gases are at a high temperature and provide thermal energy to the furnace. This combustion chamber can also be the heating chamber or be an independent chamber.

Heating chamber: is the area where the material to be heated or treated is placed , and can be of various types depending on the method of operation of the oven and its function.

Insulating lining: made up of the material that covers all the oven chambers and equipment and whose mission is to reduce energy losses to the environment as much as possible.

Chimney and flue gas exhaust pipes: these are the systems for evacuating combustion products to the outside. To improve the energy efficiency of the system, heat exchangers can be installed that recover part of the thermal energy from the combustion products before they are emitted into the atmosphere. This recovered energy can be used to preheat the air in the furnace or for any other industrial process taking place in the installation, such as, for example, preheating water.
